So, dye testing has begun for the three new colourways to be introduced later in the year. Shown below are the two I have had a go at so far processing in the dye bath. It’s pretty magical seeing the chemical reactions taking place and the colour transforming much like the magic of developing a photograph the traditional way. It’s also an exercise in patience as you need to wait until the fabric has thoroughly dried until you are able to evaluate the true success of your dye recipe. I’ll be posting the results of these trials later in the week and my thoughts on moving forward.
