ABOUT ME

I am an artist and maker based on the Isle of Wight whose work centres around the exploration of place. I am interested in democratising cultural experiences by utilising the public realm and in art-led approaches to regeneration.

In addition to my own work, I have run workshops with all age groups including children with SEN and adults with dementia. I have co-led Generate, a weekly workshop at Aspex, Portsmouth for the last six years and have worked with the Isle of Wight Council, Quay Arts, Wild About Wight, Aspex, Portsmouth and Ryde Arts.

I have also worked as Creative Director for Ryde Arts, leading ACE funded projects The Covid Commissions (2020) and Blueprint (2022/3) with Dorset based studio Denman and Gould. I am currently leading Historic England’s High Street Action Zone cultural programme for Ryde, Isle of Wight and in 2020 acted as temporary Project Manager for the Ryde HAZ overseeing the Charles Dimmick community engagement project. I have provided support for major grant applications to the Architectural Heritage Fund and the DCMS Cultural Development Fund for the transformation of a former department store into new cultural hub; Department.
